Following an inspection carried out in September, Binbrook Surgery has been awarded a ‘Good’ rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The CQC’s inspectors found that the Binbrook Surgery provides primary medical care for approximately 2,520 patients living in the rural area of Binbrook and neighbouring villages. It is located in the Lincolnshire Wolds some 25 miles from the City of Lincoln and 13 miles from Grimsby. The practice provides high quality, safe, caring and effective care to its patients.
“We are delighted with our Good rating from the CQC,” comments Dr Burton, GP Partner. “It’s testament to the great care our team provide our patients with, as well as the relationship we have with our patients.
“The whole team has put a huge amount of hard work and determination into achieving our Good rating, by providing the highest quality safe services to our patients.”
The full CQC report on the practice is available via the CQC website www.cqc.org.uk and highlights the Good rating achieved by the practice in each of the five domains – safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
“We are delighted the CQC has recognised the work we have done to retain our Good rating,” adds Aileen Sellars, Practice Manager. “Our patients are at the heart of everything we do and we are continually looking at where we can improve.”
The practice is part of Lincolnshire East Clinical Commissioning Group, which was equally delighted with the outcome of the CQC’s report, as Stephen Baird, Chair, explains:
“We know how hard the practice team has worked to ensure they retained their Good rating and we are delighted for them. General practice is challenging at the best of times, so it’s great to see Binbrook continuing to build on their success.”
